But because the models still differ in more ways than one, you will still find the cooktops a little more expensive compared to electric and gas units. A little research on the cooktops can however still get you an affordable one that is still high in quality. Always look at the design feature like number of burners, automatic pan size recognition, timers and automatic safety shut offs because they are some of the features that can affect the price. The size of the cooktop also dictates price so always weigh your options to get the most functional cooktop you can afford comfortably.
